FYI, babies are literally going to die b/c hospitals are going to be afraid to give them Tylenol for high fevers. It’s going to be the same thing as abortion. Because doctors don’t what to risk the government’s wrath. #TYLENOL #autism #AutismAwareness

Look it just really fucking sucks that someone who quite literally wanted me and people like me to at best not exist at worst fucking DIE is being remembered by our govenor @govpritzker.illinois.gov who claims to support lgbtq including trans people.

I’m so fucking disappointed dude. #charliekirk

Unfortunately, Bluesky is unavailable in Mississippi right now, due to a new state law that requires age verification for all users.

While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.

It really is difficult to find anyone in so many places in Illinois who is familiar with LGBTQ rights and legal protections. I know our Illinois legal aid line is SO popular so having a dedicated line for LGBTQ people will be SO helpful.
Illinois is launching a first-of-its-kind legal hotline for LGBTQ+ individuals — Illinois Pride Connect.

As the only state in the nation that will provide free legal advice to protect the LGBTQ+ community, we'll help fight ignorance with information and cruelty with compassion.

One in three Illinois homeowners holds policies with State Farm.

And since these rate hikes were announced, we’ve heard from many of them who want transparency on why.

If State Farm is truly interested in being a good neighbor, it should want that too.
Pritzker, Welch and Harmon: Homeowners deserve transparency from State Farm, not unexplained rate hikes
Other insurance companies work with the state on rate hikes. State Farm has refused.

The Trump administration's decision to end the 988's specialized lifeline is a cruel reversal of proven practices.

In Illinois, we stand with our LGBTQ+ community.

If you need help and you call 988 here, you'll still be met with compassion and respect.
State health agency ensures 988 LGBTQ+ youth services will continue
Illinois will continue to provide mental health support for LGBTQ+ youth despite federal funding cuts to the service.

You can do everything “right”, and still end up with chronic health conditions.

Because bodies aren’t robots, and you can’t change your genetics.

There is a huge difference between a non-disabled person choosing to stay at home all day, and a disabled person staying at home all day because they have no choice as they’re not well enough to do anything else.

Reminder that you don’t see disabled people on their worst days…

So, you cannot judge based on what you see, when you do see them.

And you can’t even judge based on what you’d “see” on our worst days, as you can’t see how we’re truly doing and feeling.

People who have long term, chronic conditions, aren’t suddenly going to get better.

If they can’t work now, they’re likely never going to be able to.

This isn’t negativity… it’s just the reality.

Punishing them or trying to “incentivise” won’t change that.

Got into a minor fender bender this morning and other than being sore neither of us was hurt which I'm thankful for but what annoyed me was having to wait almost 2 hrs for a police officer to show up. I get nobody hurt meant it was low priority but come on 2 hrs really?!

there should be a law against apps not telling you that you have to pay to use it-when it was free to downlaod- until they get you to fill out information about yourself. If it requires payment, that should be said upfront

This is so ridiculous. After they had been on it for 2 yrs and just nope not this time
Well, Medicaid denied my testosterone script. They approved it back in March just fine with no prior auth and then required one this month and immediately denied it. In Illinois. @govpritzker.illinois.gov #transhealthcare #illinoishealthcare #BBB #medicaid #transrights #lgbtq #trans

Rest assured that here in Illinois, our LGBTQ+ community can be who they want to be.

They are safe here.
They are celebrated here.
They are welcome here.
And they are free to love who they love here.

No matter the month, I'll always be an ally in the fight for equality for all.
