You would not believe how many stories like this have been popping up over the last ~5 years

Not just full games cancelled—entire characters and plot lines removed or changed, leaving less time for making the *rest of the game better*, to try avoiding a small and malicious contingent of voices.

The site would even be run like a co-op, meaning streamers and viewers could vote on rules, how the money is split, and any fee changes. This way, Twitch stays ad-free, creators get fair pay, and the whole community helps keep the platform running together.

Twitch itself would keep a small, fixed fee (like 25%) from the big pool to pay for servers and staff, and everything else would go to creators.

Streamers don’t have to run ads or worry about sponsors they just turn on “Community Pay” in their settings, and the system pays them automatically based on how many people watched and boosted them.

You can also press a “Boost” button on a stream you really like, which tells the system to send that creator a little extra from your pool. Every month, Twitch shows you a clear breakdown of where your money went, so you always know who you supported.

That money goes into one big shared pool that supports all streamers. As you watch different streams, the system automatically tracks your watch time and sends pieces of your monthly amount to those streamers, kind of like splitting a pizza based on how many slices you ate.

Is this an answer to twitch's ad problem: everything would run on community support instead of ads. When viewers log in, they can choose to join a “community fund” and pick how much they want to give each month, maybe $1, $3, or $5.

I get it, the Dems are deeply flawed, but when all our energy goes into dunking on liberals instead of confronting literal fascists trying to dismantle democracy, our activism starts to feel hollow and performative.

Entryism isn’t about “saving” the Democrats, it’s about using limited access to power to protect people + build movements in a rigged 2-party system. The Dems will never be truly left-wing; they’re tied to capital. Entryism is a tactic, not the goal. We’ll need our own party someday.

I think the biggest cope of the right is them trying to say that fascism and nazism are left wing when we all know without a doubt that it is very much and unrefutably right wing.
