Yes, it’s sacrilegious, making a mockery of religion. In addition, it appropriates the style of Norman Rockwell. Catherine Rampell writing for The Bulwark has a piece out on the unauthorized appropriation of Rockwell by DHS.

Although I’m not old enough to have seen it as a first run movie, I’ve been watching it in reruns for probably 50 years now. But there are lots of younger people who have never seen it at all, which is why it’s good to show it every year.

The information I’ve seen on it said that 21 Republican senators of the 40 in the state senate opposed Trump’s redistricting scheme. They were joined by all of the 10 Democrats.

The first presidential election I voted in was 1964. I was never a Nixon voter. Yet, to give the devil his due, most of our key environmental laws stem from his presidency. The Endangered Species Act is just one example of several.

Speculation on that topic, that the universe is infinite and contains innumerable worlds, started in Europe with Giodano Bruno in the latter half of the 16th century. Because of his heretical theories and his outspokenness, Bruno was burnt at the stake in Rome in 1600.
