Steve Schmidt on Louie Gohmert: "When I say he's America's craziest and dumbest Congressman, I'm serious about that." July 29, 2020. Parody account.
Very simply, the elite, ruling class doesn't give a shit about the commoners. By not upsetting people, they can rape and pillage us.
I mean this seriously, i would like senator Warnock to be president of these United States
Now would be preferred but I’ll accept Monday
Warnock: "Any nation that tolerates this kind of violence year after year, decade after decade in random places, on our college and school campuses, without doing all that we can to stop it is broken and in need of moral repair."

Because it’s not getting reported on enough:

Muslim fruit shop owner Ahmed al Ahmed, father of two, was the hero who bravely tackled one of the Bondi Beach shooters and took away his gun.

He saved lives during a major terror attack. Say his name, and honor the lives of the victims of the shooters

REP. @jamestalarico.bsky.social : “The biggest ‘welfare queens’ in 🇺🇸 are corporations that don’t pay a penny in federal taxes, and CEOs who get a tax deduction for flying on a private jet — not hungry kids, or working parents who work multiple jobs.”

I still think SCOTUS got it wrong with District of Columbia v. Heller (2008). If the conservative SCOTUS can reverse major decisions, a liberal court can do the same. This is why we always need to elect a Democratic president.

Trump has attsacked Indiana GOP state senators more than he has Putin tells you all you need to know where Trump's loyalties lie.

BILL BURR: “If someone’s working 160 hours a month and can’t make their rent, you’re not paying them enough. Maybe you should just be worth $900,000,000… How does a CEO take a f*cking 8 figure bonus and none of your employees have dental insurance?”

They would never let me into this country if I weren't already here
In addition to 5 years of social media history, CBP would also require tourists to provide all phone numbers used over that period, any email addresses used in the past decade, DNA and iris scans, and the names, addresses, birthdates and birthplaces of family members
Including children

Years ago, the right wing would say you couldn't trust the government. Now that you really can't trust your government, the right wing is willing to eat up this shit no matter what.

On December 18th, we will "officially" be at war with Venezuela.

The GOP proposal for health savings accounts is a cruel joke. Most people don't earn enough to save any money. This may have a silver lining. This could be the disaster we need to go to single-payer health care finally.
Sadly, we'll have to endure the pain and suffering to get to single payer.

When I retired (over 20 years ago), part of my retirement plan was health insurance. As the years have gone on, my share has grown ever larger. The hospital bill was over $44,000.
My point was that $2,000 will do nothing for people, and a health savings plan is a joke. Many people can't save.
Wow, do you have to pay the 60.000 yourself? 😱🥺
I pay a monthly contribution to the health insurance company, and they then pay for the necessary operations and medications.

Last month, my wife had outpatient shoulder surgery. She was in the hospital for less than 4 hours. Got the bill yesterday. It was over $60,000. I hope I get that $2,000 soon.
Medicare for all. Let's stop this shit.

Kudos to Trump for making proud farmers into welfare queens. Trump is taking $12 billion from the U.S. Treasury to help farmers because of his tariffs.
This should have been $12 billion in payments for US farm products from China. #artofthedeal

It's the latest government effort to shore up a key political constituency hurt by the financial fallout from Trump's trade policies.

What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.

What does he mean he “approved”? American carmakers have NEVER been prevented from making small cars. They just didn’t want to. Big ones are more profitable here.

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.
