That’s a really good point. Strikes me that they are desperate to make the hot political takes from their Pol Ed do well. It means for many people the first they will see of this news will be couched in one man’s opinion. Obviously it’s gone very wrong with this particular push 😆

At the least it will force Reform to explain to voters in the north why it is they don’t think we deserve improved rail connections and prosperity

One of the biggest issues is social care. Hospitals are full of people who can’t be discharged because there are no care home places or care packages available. This blocks up the whole flow of the hospital and it’s felt most acutely in the emergency department.
