Yeah, it’s a good place! The plateau is interesting and suggests they do have good ventilation, just severely under-dimensioned. Acoustics aren’t the best though

It’s starting to feel downright malevolent. In most places you can’t get jabbed anymore even though the shots wane significantly over three to six months. Monitoring is gone or broken. Public info pages are all “You can go back to work”. How are we supposed to fight any of it with so few resources

So turns out the fuckos running public health in France CHANGED THEIR SMOOTHING MODEL TWO WEEKS AGO and do not provide the raw data so now comparing graphs looks all weird. Fuck’s sake

Lille covid wastewater graph for 2025-09-22. It is now a steady rise through two tiny bump at 2000, with the current peak at 5000. It looks like a completely different curve.

And now for the CO2 numbers!
They are… *drumroll*… well, less bad than Le Splendid, I’ll give them that, because that hit 4000+, but still very very unsafe

CO2 graph, going from about 500ppm before 20:00, to a solid 1300ppm at 21:00, to an alarming 2200ppm from about 21:45 to 22:30.
The graph is labeled “Fållan - Pendulum - 2025-10-08” because otherwise I’m not gonna remember what it is.

(It’s a GVS Elipse and it looks pretty cool but most importantly it means that this concert has way lower odds of disabling me for life, which is VERY cool)

You will likely join the field with a specific idea of what you want to do, while not being able to get there from the start. Be open to changing your plans, especially if the less prestigious / underdog team you start with “by force” actually feels really good.
(Aka: UI is great)

Solid read here but I wish it had a bit more historical context to put the whole mess into perspective. E.g. in France we had supermarkets issuing “revolving” credits over a decade ago, Klarna’s been on Kronofogden’s shitlist for at least five years for driving Swedish late teens to bankruptcy, etc

There’s a very DIY sign on the Arlanda grounds that says BRAND SLANG above a bunch of large flexible piping. What a glorious example of false friends that is: both words exist in Swedish and English but mean entirely different things

So a small update on French politics for my English speaking followers the guy who had been charged with forming a government and came up with the same government than the previous government has quit this morning following the announcement of his government and is now in charge of forming a new one
