I had not seen this articulated like this before, but yeah.

Can't even go to the normal October events without feeling it about to hit. Can't cook a meal, take care of the chickens, crochet something without it hanging there - all the time.

All. The. Time.

Every day now feels like that moment the second plane hit the World Trade Center.

Rebuild it again with permissions, and you'd be amazed at how many people would allow their work to be used for free or minimal minimal fee.

But they built it on theft and want US to pay you for it? Nope.

I don't know if this makes me a pervert, but... raw peeled potatoes.

And

This thing my grandma used to make and I still love today - mashed potatoes (not box), hamburger, green pepper and onion cooked together and put on the buttered mashed potatoes spread out on a plate.

I would eat it daily.

It's helping hold the creek bank there, so I am not in favor of cut it all the way down.

"But I love them" when what they really mean is the like spending time with them, are still in the infatuation stage and great sex stage, and don't realize all the rest that comes with marriage - and that NO real marriage is smooth sailing.

Same with kids.

It was very scary, the number of people who truly disliked their spouses, their kids, considered them a massive burden once schools, work, all the social activities shut down and they actually had to spend time with their spouses and offspring.

I was truly baffled by how many hate their children.

i do think one of the genuinely astounding trends post COVID is the people who've clearly lost their minds because they actually lived in their homes with their families

/3 I still don't know where the dead thing is, but found proof we rarely use that side of the driveway when I came back and found the bones of a baby groundhog; I have a new mandible for my collection, and I'll go look at the rest in the morning.
