The administration just issued a rule slashing foreign agricultural worker wages. And to justify it, in a public filing, Trump's Labor Department alleges that Trump's immigration enforcement has devastated the Ag workforce and caused a "risk of supply shock-induced food shortages."

yeah the greens are probably the biggest left liberal party that scans with the democrats, there are a handful of other left liberal parties on the continent but they're very much Contintental Liberals first in ways neither the Greens nor Dems are

you have a fair number of center right dems, particularly at the state level, but in congress the dems have basically become a new dem-prog coalition instead of new dem-blue dog (and New Dems and Progs have kinda converged towards a kind of generic party line liberalism)

A crystal clear example of this are the Danes, who have a center-right liberal party called "Venstre" (left) and a center/center-left liberal party called "Radikale Venstre" (radical left), and used to have an aristocratic conservative party called Højre (right) which was supplanted by the DKF

though a lot of those eurolibs used to be actually center left, but like a hundred years ago before they got displaced to the center and the right by the rise of social democrats. while in the states the social democrats fizzled/died and ended up integrating into urban Dem machines/making their own
