Black Mirror has made it so that if saving my life would involve putting a little magnetic disc on my temple I'd go ahead and take my chances without it.

Political liberalism has a lot of flaws but one of the cool things about it is how it's constructed around the insight that monarchy is a fundamental affront to human dignity 👍

Happy Black History month. A few years ago I converted from Roman Catholic to Episcopal, and shortly after learned about Absalom Jones, an important figure in the Episcopal church www.aecst.org/ajones.htm

We could’ve had this nationwide.
Friendly reminder: there’s plenty of time left to claim up to $1,750 per child with our nation-leading Child Tax Credit.

Last year, we put over $550 million into the pockets of nearly 225,000 families.

In its simplest terms, the apparent demise of #USAID is the result of the world's richest man ending a program that helps millions of poor people. You don't need a Ph.D. in moral theology to see why this is an evil. You can just read Jesus's parables on the rich and the poor.

MO has three cities with higher crime rates: StL, KC, and Springfield. KC and StL have Black Mayors and a large Black population. Springfield has a White mayor and a large White population.

The state has taken over the police department in KC and is trying in StL.

No talk of Springfield. Weird.

Where I live we used to set trash bags out on the curb for pick up. Recently the city finally issued us barrels. But somehow there's more garbage on the street on trash day than there was before? The things I've had to fish out of my dog's mouth 😔
