I must be spending all my Social time on Bluesky because I didn't even realize Fediforum was happening and I've attended all of them so far

Looks like I'm going but I thought the Hackathon would be the best place to meet ATProto devs so I'll just be there the first weekend. Maybe I messed that up

@dholms.xyz's post requesting a BOF is here.

The IETF tickets are pricey, but the hackathon day is open to all, and we'll be looking at outside-the-IETF gathers on particular topics.

#PrivateDataWG is one of the likely things to discuss.

Will there be a Human Developed Software (HuDS) category in the future, like Acoustic Musicians or Analog Recordings?

I saw an email with Markdown in the subject and thought I'd be interested. Turns out to be a clothing sale. I was expecting a lightweight markup language

I don’t really have one. I’ll think about it, but if you look up Giambotta you can get an idea. I use fresh tomato, zucchini and peppers as the sauce as opposed to the traditional marinara

Graze was the first app I used that made me realize Bluesky/AT Proto really is different in some fundamental ways that I’ve now come to genuinely appreciate. The redesign is super sharp!

Check out spelungit: An MCP server I wrote for semantic search of git history. Fully local using a local LLM and sqlite to store embeddings.

Plans to use stronger online models in the future, but for now, this works pretty well!
Spelungit: When git log --grep isn’t enough
Ever tried to remember why you made a change six months ago? I built Spelungit so you can search Git commit history with natural language instead of praying to the regex gods.

Is there like widespread insider trading going on in this country?

Here's a take. There will NEVER be a a "winning" social protocol. If there was it was won a long time ago with email or or sms. In the U.S. at least, we just don't live in a world where we'd all jump on board the same train.
