I spent years of my life processing my pain the wrong way. I’ll spend the rest of my life writing about the way out. My words are my art. 🎨

Introducing my 5 part series: Creating is Survival where we’re talking about the hard shit.

The “I can’t get out of bed in the morning” vibe.

The “I don’t feel like my hobbies are fun anymore” life.

The “can’t be bothered to eat an actual meal” behavior

- and how to get the hell out of there
Amidst the hurt and heartache, I’ve taken the pen to page. Join me in Volume 1 of my new series: Creativity is survival where we talk about #trauma, #healing, and utilizing creativity in our #recovery. Dive into #transformation and hope, without sugarcoating the pain it takes to get there. ❤️ #growth

Devastating. Our hard of hearing training and resources in public health are TREASURED resources. Often, translator services are the very difference between a person receiving life-altering care or suffering.
The CDC team that helped states improve infant hearing screening is gone.

Families of deaf and hard-of-hearing babies have lost vital public health support.

When patient care is done well, the patient recovers or thrives. When public health is done well, nothing happens!
A tricky thing about modern society is that no one has any idea when they don’t die.

Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200,000 per year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.
