Ohhh nice!! That’s how I got one of my shots of it - set up at leo Carrillo for a shot of it but couldn’t see it so drove along the pch and suddenly boom, perfect view of it near point Mugu. Got it right over Anacapa island

There were also a few Red Tailed Hawks flying over the canyon during my hike. This one was nice enough to perch at the top of a tree. #redtailedhawk

Couple more shots of that same Red Shouldered Hawk. Partly cloudy lighting is so rough for me but at least it seems to have given each shot a different mood.

Another edit of the owl - tough to get photos of because it was so dark I had to do long exposures to even reveal that it was there. I could barely make out it’s silhouette with my naked eye.

I have some of those too I think ☠️🪦 there was another comet this year but I didn’t hear about it until it was basically only visible in the southern hemisphere. Maybe for the best since I’m already behind
