I finally finished up my run of Bauldur's Gate 3, with the ending really pulling at the heart-strings (to Avernus we go!).

Funnily enough the first urge was to go do a new run now that I know the mechanics better.

Spent this evening attempting to arrange the song 'Dark Place' from Deltarune Chapter 4. Was having a lot of trouble until I realized the whole piece was tuned for A=400 Hz and not A=440 Hz.

I'm also really missing having my MIDI keyboard (currently in a box in Australia).

I'm still shocked that I got a T-rank on Hard before I got the rank on Normal.

Absolutely don't try to do this with Bluetooth headphones with a few hundred milliseconds delay.

Had a go at trying to replicate the dark world smoke effect from Deltarune. It's not perfect, but I think it does capture the essence of the effect.

Ended up using a particle system and two shaders (in Godot)—one to draw the stencil and one to create the outline.

I finally got so damn sick of Google pushing their AI, that I switched my phone's launcher to Niagara, switched to Kagi as a search engine and switched over to Firefox as my browser.

I'm glad to no longer be working there where I'd be expected to push this shit.

I'm allergic to ragweed and I don't need anything messing with my hormones more than my body already does.
