Crows are smarter than 7 yr old kids,rats w/backpacks are rescuing humans from collapsed buildings...Time to recognize Mother Nature...I hate bulldozers & deforestation more than anything...I'm in love w/BIRDS🐦 (especially waterfowl🦆) I help rescue them❣️
#BirdOfTheDay #DucksOnOneLeg meet Henry. He only has one leg now but he is A FIGHTER! He lost his other leg bc of fishing line being wrapped around it to long. He even learned to land on one leg like a champ! He really went thru a lot so he deserves some type of recognition 👏!

Trying to get Frenchy her pile of feed. Even though I have a rehabilitation place who said they'd take her...I haven't been able to catch her. She didn't even molt her flight feathers this last molt. She was the ONLY ONE! She's the one who is losing her bill. #MallardMonday #ducks #waterfowl #birds

The last born of this past season gets her first brain freeze! When ducks are eating in the snow and they keep shaking their heads it's them experiencing brain freeze. I feel bad bc that feels terrible and they have no idea why it keeps happening. #MallardMonday #Audubon #ducks #birds #waterfowl

#SquirrelSaturday this is "Myrle the girl Squirrel" (we thought she was a boy till she had kids!). She lived at my old apt building. She was an absolute delight 😊. She came to greet us when we got home from work&I miss her(we moved). Another nice lady took over watching out for her. #backyardanimals
