nee. das hat was mit Datensicherheit und Privatsphäre zu tun. Viele marginalisierte Leute wären sonst schnell Opfer zb rechtsextremer oder einfach creepy Männern.

this. einfach nur ne dauerstelle um ordentlich den eigenen job zu machen und nicht alle zwei jahre umziehen und alle sozialen kontakte aufgeben zu müssen. und familie - geht so eh auch nicht. schon gar nicht für Frauen.

there is already ICE. Trumps lables opponents as terrorists, threatens to arrest elected governors. so checks and balances is more than broken. and mid terms are at stake. The civil society will really have to fight so that there still are elections in 2026 I fear

and yeah, the US is not fully authoritarian yet. but MAGA are fascists and they are on their path. they need to be stopped. Only the smaller courts are still functioning, SCOTUS clearly isnt. freedom of press I also do not really see there anymore. Look at how they all cater to Trump. >

For the US I totally believe you. But trust us from Germany, most white Germans were complicit with the Nazi regime and weren't feeling negatively affected by it in the 1930s.

no, white Germans were mostly supporting it were complicit and weren't affected. Very few were in the opposition. Those were affected. but they were a tiny minority of white German people.

ja aber eben weil man* es historisch kennt. Und er ist ja nicht irgendwer sondern Journalist. Da würde ich es für ne Voraussetzung halten sich Project 25 anzuschauen und ne solide politische und historische Bildung mitzubringen. Es ist ja Jobaufgabe sowas einordnen zu können.
