My house is full of not quite ready to eat apples as Dexter really likes apples. And he's a big chap & can get at all the low hanging fruit from my trees. Why do I get the demiveg dog who eats all my fruit & veg? He likes beetroot carrots, cabbage, pumpkins, potatoes, even Swiss chard. All raw!

And, in the case of Barley from Romania, 4 years before he starts to behave like a normal dog. I don't regret a thing...but I wish he had come with a user guide!

Just finished this by @susiedent.com. Genuinely one of the best crime books I have ever read. If you like words, puzzles & jolly clever literary references (explained - & yes, I did need the assistance) this book is a delight. 📚⚡️💙

I'm knitting a top down sweater, Low Tide, in a wool / linen mix. It's going OK, although I intend to make it a bit longer than the original specified length. You get a sideways view because I couldn't work out where the rotate button had gone. 🧶

Morning all. I hope Sunday is treating you well. It's sunny here on the Scottish border & the cherry tree - which we inherited; it is enormous - is in full bloom. It will produce fruit but sadly it isn't much good for eating. The birds will stuff themselves silly instead! 🌱

He's called Merlin. He belongs to my daughter & he takes "dumb dog" to hitherto unknown heights. When he isn't looking stupid he's a labrador. Night all.

It's a prime gardening day in almost Scotland. Snakes head fritillary, chionodoxa...oh, & the gin palace is open for business for the first time this year. (Please ignore Lord Fluffington; he refused to move.) 🌱
