I'm brand new to Bluesky, still learning how it all works. I'm a fiber artist, usually working with upcycled fabric scraps. I've been stitching my feelings lately, and this is my latest embroidery project - Sunbonnet Sue, Days of Rage collection. It's inspired by the 1930's Sunbonnet Sue designs.

Excellent thread about the US Copyright Office's second report on AI copyright eligibility. The gist is they largely uphold their previous stance, with some minor exceptions in certain cases. I may write up my thoughts tomorrow, but this good news for artists, bad for AI proponents.
The US Copyright Office came out with a new report regarding AI & copyright. I read the 50 page report this morning. Not sure I got all of it (will probably need a 2nd run through) but my initial takeaways: I think the headlines I'm seeing are pretty sensationalist and frankly a bit dishonest. 🧵 1/
