shoutout to number munchers and replaying the trial version of age of empires over and over again as my other elementary school computer memories
a screenshot of number munchers: a simple pixel little learning game where you play a little green guy and you have to eat the right numbers based on a prompt (in this example, multiples of 5). there are other monsters who will also try to eat you. i think they chased you? i forget it's been over 20 years the trial campaign from the original age of empires. there's an invisible timer until the enemies raid your little city it doesn't warn you about but i played so many times i used to just pack the fuck up and leave to a separate area on the map so i could build my little structures in peace
