I really love the LOG series, they’re a bit more fun. Devil’s Night is definitely more depressing but the story overall (all 4 books) is good and the characters feel a little more rooted in reality (Penelope Douglas is one of my fav authors too)

Yes! I compare these to Legacy of Gods from Rina Kent, which I prefer, but Penelope is a better writer and much more complex MCs, I enjoyed them. Corrupt is kind of luke warm but when you get to Damon in book 3 🥵

I’ve read this one and have 2 and 3 but haven’t read them yet (rare for me, I usually marathon series), I wasn’t super enthralled with 1. They’re on my list to get back to eventually, I liked the world more in Little Stranger. I gave it a 3.75
