Oh yeah interconnected standalone series it doesn’t matter but regular series? Gorl lol do the legwork
What kind of feral child jumps into a series NOT on book 1?
Tbh I don’t like multi POV stories in general for this reason but it seems SO MANY dark romance/romantasy books do this format so I just suck it up. This one with having Kazhimyr’s POV too I was like another?? lol
This one has those too! It’s really pretty. I’ve heard mixed things about it but I find my top favs are always the ones others were meh about so we will see!
Mini TBR haul 🤍

I cannot agree with this more, some of my favorite books/movies explore darker topics without having a preachy message built in and that ambiguity is WHY I enjoy them so much. I can’t stand the idea of always having to paint something in a certain light. Explore all facets and let people decide!
She’s really good at the sad backstories and it’s such a big part of Eldritch, it definitely makes you feel frustrated!
I typically choose my reads based on how hard people clutched their pearls in the reviews

Tell me your most unhinged literary opinion, as a little treat
It’s always the smut hate too whereas for me, I’m in my element bc for the first time in years I don’t have to do excessive searching to find my brand of books I enjoy, others are actually talking about them now!
Mini Review- Nightshade 🪽

Moving on to Book 2 next!

When the MMC in your current read has the same unique name as the MMC in one of your favorite books

I’ll join!

My disclaimers- “book you hated” was due to the writing level in this one (👎🏻). I also don’t know what a “long” book is, so I guessed anything over 500 pages?

I wish more people would just touch on it in reviews, like I want to know the plot is good and the writing isn’t horrible too, but please just confirm if it’s got action or not! One will make my TBR the other won’t 😅
Am I alone in assuming that when book reviews don’t comment on spice, the book doesn’t have any? I always rate the spice in my reviews lol

(Today I saw that The Knight and the Moth is spicy and not a single one of the million rave social media reviews I saw about it mentioned that…)

I hear you, there’s a lot of reviews I see for books that are like “was going to read this but then found out it has [insert plot point/trope they don’t like] ugh, 1 star” like m’am…
It goes for so many tropes/things (but age gaps are my fav so I feel this the most!) but like…there’s a summary on the back of the book. See something you don’t like? Put it back. Not everything is specially tailored to YOU or purposely trying to piss you off
