I saw an amazing idea as I was scrolling through my Instagram feed. I will be buying hard copies of books that are frequently "challenged" (basically, 'banned books'). Who knows when they will become unavailable. I want to have my own copies of them, on a bookshelf in my own home, out in the open.

No kitty pictures this week from the shelter, I was playing with kittens, and they were all over the place! All you would have seen were multicolored blobs moving super fast! There is a tiny white cat with green eyes named eggnog though, I will try to get a picture next week, if he is still there!

We shouldn’t accept that a CEO killer must get a national manhunt when cops don’t solve most murders at all. A migrant teenager was just murdered in NYC, cops just killed a guy here — the lives of these other people are worth just as much as that CEO.

I volunteer at a cat shelter on wednesday mornings. Poor Simi has a bit of an eye infection, but is still beautiful! Nola still isn't sure of the volunteers but is a sweetheart!

The child that lives upstairs spends every waking moment running back and forth in the home as loud as a 3-4 year old physically can. I have complained several times. I have tried to speak to the family, but they don't speak English. I think they speak Haitian Creole. I am going insane.

My mom crochets blankets for all her kids (I have three of them, they are amazing). I just got one in the mail that she made for my kitty Austin (she calls him her grandcat). It has his nickname (Aussie) crocheted into it! This is amazing. I am sobbing.

Weird! Got in the car today to go to work, the end of Faith no More's 'Epic' was playing on the radio. 8ish hours later, on the way home from work, different station, same song comes on, right before I get home. Not a super common song, but I dig it!
