Aye, can't believe we had to deal with all shows doing the week to week back in the day. My flatmate likes the space that style gave to discuss each show in a fandom sense, but I'm too impatient to deal with that. I like having something substantial to discuss (3 ep blocks or full series preferable)

That is always very impressive. I do like a good marathon - either a rewatch/revisit of a much loved fave or just mainlining a new show start to finish. I do tend to enjoy a binge-watch rather than tackling shows week on week.

Sometimes years (especially awful ones like this) do completely throw us out of the rhythms of even doing comforting things for ourselves. It's tough, but ya can always catch up with more good reads when life is less precarious. *sends hugs*

Apart from films (which got a significant boost from Festival attendance), I'm technically down in all categories from previous years. Lot less locking in and finishing things, lot more despondent scrolling or frantically contacting MPs/writing back on consultations/organising work network stress.
