We are seeing Labour actively attempting to weaken human rights protections, they are already undermining modern slavery protections. That won't change from people like me pointing it out. It changes when people either stop supporting them, or members start calling them out for these abuses. 7/7

Fuck our own Brit-regime too, let's be clear! All hope of sensible voices in Labour reining in Starmer's wholehearted prance into fascism went out the window almost immediately. Seems Starmer took frantic notes from Tories to deepen his own unpopularity whilst also screwing over every party tenet.
The thing I still can't forgive Corbyn for is the generational harm he caused by enabling Brexit. When Starmer is gone, hopefully soon, I will feel the same way about the profound harm he has caused by making it palatable for the Far Right to ditch human rights norms. It will be his shameful legacy.

What gets me is that fanfic/fanart creators have been talking about the subject of getting dogpiled, harassed, and pressured *for so many years now* about making dark/unsettling content, and let nobody listened to the canary in the coal mine because “stupid fandom drama”
alternatively we as a society could realize that fiction is about playing with dolls and that horrible things happening to them doesn't matter because it's all toys.
