Digital-Inclusion-preoccupied pensioner for @techresort.bsky.social . Loves excellent beer. From Bristol but mostly living in coastal Sussex. Martello Tower-botherer. Occasionally codes for fun. Owns more cameras & boardgames than is reasonable.
Holiday. Best pub in town.

This, in the York Tap, on York station. Around the other side of the circular bar was a full complement of Timmy Taylor beers. Allowed myself a smirk

So, apparently, this is probably the remains of a Woodcock. Found in central Bristol - almost certainly a peregrine falcon meal. We think maybe it was Mrs PF's birthday and she fancied a change from feral pigeon. We did hear her mithering a lot before we found this. <gruesome warning>

It's Sunday at home so it's beer from the fridge and a board game. Today we cured all know illnesses! (Just)

Walk around the harbour to try a couple of 127 cameras. Brilliant to seen how well Bristol uses the harbour side. Since we were here, was rude not to come for a pint or two

Monday. Decant to the pub to review funding bid. There is fab beer, courtesy of Bristol Beer Factory and a lovely fire. Perfect!

Behold! The Compukit UK 101 as "gifted" to our school by an Education Secretary who daren't speak her name. Got me tinkering with computers, and now helping people with them some 45 years later.

On my way to St Leonard's to plan grassroots digital inclusion activities with our partners at Citizens Advice. Lovely day for it, eh?

#skying Sorry. Realise I missed intros etc. I'm a general nerd, part based in Eastbourne, part in Bristol. Part of the reason we keep this flat is the huge amount of sky you can see - even from the centre of the city

So, this is what happens when you don't take desire lines into consideration when doing your landscape architecture. Yes, there's a pedestrian crossing but the access to flats are where people come from. This is why you're trying to stop them with fences. It won't work.
