I love the pole vault moveset, and I really love the abandoned underground megastructure setting. The platforming and exploring were both fun even if it wasn't much of a challenge due to the wildly lenient ledge grab detection. I'd recommend this if you have 4+ hours left to live.

Tennis bullet hell that lies to you because that shit does NOT go on forever, though what is there is good. I'm surprised the concept wasn't taken further and turned into a roguelike that makes you choose 1 of 3 things every match, I think it would easily adapt to that format.

Very good story with perhaps a bit too much jargon. While it's a boss-only combat game, there's far more adventure and character drama than combat ("unlike OTHER games, etc etc"). Ending was good but some threads set up by the sidequest town didn't get proper payoffs.

Flavorless writing that puts me to sleep. Cases are so linear in their interaction and restrictive in their environment that they could've made this a kinetic novel and not lose anything. Huge twist makes everything less interesting. Artstyle is pretty good.

A melee-focused take on the Hotline Miami formula. Has a really unique artstyle that unfortunately often gets in the way of gameplay by making situations hard to read, on top of level design I wasn't fond of. The story was compelling enough for me to see it all through however.

Yuji Natsume is challenging Ryukishi07 for the title of The Woke Lolicon. There's also a game here that plays kind of like the Specter Knight campaign but with installs. Could pass for a Vanillaware game if not for the fact that Inti released it on Steam (after some troubles).

Great assortment of (110) one-screen puzzles. I especially enjoyed watching the rube goldberg-like interactions you create by the end of the harder levels. Strangely there's a few "fake puzzles" where you barely interact with anything onscreen and complete it way under par.

Very sweet story (I would not have been able to stomach all the flirty dialogue without the gay option available). It's hard to imagine how they let the combat be so awful when just a few years earlier the devs made one of the best action games ever in Furi. Lots of spelling errors!

Attempts too much and comes up a rehash of things I've already seen done better (gravity platforming, parry reliant combat, combat tempo, grappling, PSX graphics, protag with an absurdly large ass). Was alright as a whole but I can't say there's any standout aspects to it.
