i loved the oyako yuri anthology but that tsutsui itsuki oneshot about the woman getting berated by her abusive boss every day and going insane hallucinating coming home to her as the mc's kind lover feels more like a momcon manga than like 80% of the stuff there despite zero mothers present

my goal was to get both WIPs !!close to sentence-tweaking phase by the end of the year but i don't think that's happening (though it's only the case with one since i focused my attention on the other). they're about 85% of the way there though and i finished the last missing section last night!!!!

zettai ryoiki may be a little dated but in 2025 i think the narrow and sensitive exposed area between ayako's chin and the collar of her sleeveless turtleneck is worth some attention, especially when we consider her side ponytail intermittently obscuring it (this has made its way into the WIP)

ngl the first thing i immediately jumped to when i read abt mafuyu not having a sense of taste was "is she being factitious-disorder-by-proxy poisoned by her mom??" but then i realized it was just Super Depression. also i don't think there's any substance that does that alone w/o anosmia anyway
