"I do it all" - 12oz Mouse

Mostly pictures though, "small world" macro stuff, patterns in nature, quiet places. All images mine, all real, no AI. Other interests include filmmaking, gamedev, and electronic music/instruments. Baltimore/DC based.
Feels like the pitch for every tech product of the last decade has been "what if you could do exactly what you did before but with middle man fees?"

For what it's worth, Thai sweet chili sauce is very similar (better imo) and usually easy to find

What about that pig that paints?

Yeah there's no set runtime that is "too long", it's what you do with it. Killers of the flower moon was (imo) too long. Heavens Gate was exactly as long as it should have been. They're about the same length.

I'm so ready to be deeply uncomfortable in exchange for like 3w of charge

In videogames there will always be someone with more time than you. This is why I don't like any multiplayer games with progression mechanics that take more than like 20hrs to complete because someone will *always* have it in a day or two.

I started out taking pictures of patterns and textures I would find in the forest, and a lot of these are on decaying logs so I naturally started running into a lot of mushrooms, lichens, and slime molds, but I still don't know much about them

Definitely a fungus, I thought the same thing about it being a slime mold but I've been corrected a few times, I see these fairly often in the fall in Wyman Park here in Baltimore

If I remember correctly LED pulse is also a factor, makes it harder for them to find each other. Most LEDs that tout how power efficient they are do it by pulsing, down to pretty low frequencies, the worst look like 10-20hz to my eye.

Security lights, little string lights around the tops of fences, lights pointed straight up at trees. Even ignoring star visibility, night is supposed to be dark. Then these people ask where the fireflies went, ignore the answer and never put their BS on a timer.

I swear it stopped briefly in the 00s, at least on TV. Honestly, as disturbing as it is I am almost in awe of the regulatory shenanigans the tobacco industry pulled off by killing vapes to bring cigarettes roaring back.
