Testing Book 2’s (The Boundless) pitch:

“When everything is on the brink of collapse, when nothing is left to sacrifice, the Conjunction Born are all that stands between what was and what could be. In the end, salvation isn’t given — it’s found in what endures. The Prime Conjunction has begun.”

What happens when an AI strategist and sci fi author can’t tell what’s real? That’s what happened to me last month — and it changed how I think about trust, combatting deepfakes, and synthetic truth. Here’s the story on LinkedIn www.linkedin.com/posts/lincol...

I’m experimenting with a new cover design concept for my next science fiction and fantasy hybrid series…The timing feels right for getting this out into the world.

So... Colbert is getting canceled in *2026*?

They do know they've given him no reason to yield at all now, right? That is a looong time to be at 0 fucks to give.

Going to go grab some popcorn and pull up a seat.

Let the final editing (before it goes to my eagle eyed editor) begin. Anyone else motivated by the desire to demonstrate to their editor that they understand the proper use of commas? #booksky

It’s cloudy, raining, with a high probability for a thunderstorm. For some reason I find that the perfect conditions for creative writing.

40 more pages to go then I’ll have finished revising book 2 “The Boundless” of my SF&F series, The Root of Infinity. 🎉

Querying and receiving rejections is a humbling experience. It reminds me of my performing arts days and the disappointment that came from multiple auditions. Yet, when I landed those gigs and ended up on stage or in film… well, those made it all worthwhile. Here’s to perseverance.

There is something about engaging in creative writing that has always brought me a sense of joy and indescribable calm. Maybe it’s because I get to explore my imaginative side? Or it’s because the world I’m creating is the one place where I feel as if I have some measure of control. It’s both.

I’ve been asked if I use AI to craft my stories. No. The joy I receive from using my imagination to create the plot of the stories, deciding what should happen next, as well as digging into the emotional depths of the characters is something I would not give over to genAI. Granted it does try—lol.

Writing in itself, and having the opportunity to tell stories that allow escape from the craziness of the world brings incredible joy.

I’m raising a glass to my fellow story tellers out there who are helping others to lose themselves in a wonderfully told sci fi and fantasy tale.

Hey all. I have nothing against anyone who does OnlyFans (men, women or other). We all have to make a living, so you, do you. Apparently it’s great money. If you’d like to follow me to talk books and other topics, wonderful, follow away. But please note, that’s all you’ll get from me. All the best 😊

Got it. I have an elevator pitch I’m happy with: “At this Prime Conjunction, even time will shatter. Gifted outcast, cursed and hunted due to the circumstances of their birth are their worlds’ last salvation.” shandlincoln.com

🎉 I’m celebrating finding a potential tag line for my sci-fi/fantasy novel: “The Prime Conjunction is upon us. Run and hide.”

Too cliche? Or just right? I’ll sit with it for a few days.
