The last time that we had tariffs of this size was as a result of the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act, passed in June, 1930. The Dow Jones fell by about 85% from 6/30 to 7/32

When I was a kid, everyone wanted to play at our house. My mother was so cool. She'd put on the Can-Can and dance through the house. My friends loved her!! Teens at home are a good thing, ha ha.
