I moved into a condo in the spring. It is a seniors' condo. They are very community minded. Today, I saw how they honour Canada's veterans and those who died in wars. I love these people. I am glad to call this, and Canada, home.

Finally put my bird feeder out. Took the chickadees about two hours to notice it.

This little cactus flowers every year around this time. It is so pretty. My mom never had any luck getting a Christmas cactus to flower. She tried everything. I ignore it and water it when I remember. I guess it prefers being neglected.

I don't know how this happened because I don't have any luck with plants but it is very pretty. Not sure how long it will last but I will enjoy it.
