An introvert. Interested in Canadian politics. Love chickadees, hate winter. I support Ukraine. Elbows up Canada! Did not vote for corrupt Ford.
I moved into a condo in the spring. It is a seniors' condo. They are very community minded. Today, I saw how they honour Canada's veterans and those who died in wars. I love these people. I am glad to call this, and Canada, home.

Paying tribute to the 29 lives lost in the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald 50 years ago today. Gordon Lightfoot sang it best however I quite enjoy the Headstones version

Congratulations to the fine people of the Netherlands!
Congratulations to the Netherlands for showing authoritarianism the door!

It can be done - Wilders' far-right party just lost 12 seats in their 150 seat House of Representatives, leaving them only 25.

I agree with Claus. If any other country was doing this to Canada,we'd be pissed. It should be their US representatives telling their US people that tariffs are not good for their country.

Received my flu and COVID vaccines today, one in each arm. COVID arm is more sore than flu arm. Feeling a bit tired. Should be back to 100% tomorrow.

The Trillium is hammering this story.

Rubicon is owned by Kory Teneycke, the premier’s campaign manager.”

Now waiting for Doug to say he’s not a micromanager and has never met his campaign manager.

Once again, Ford's government is proven to be corrupt. And yet, he keeps getting voted in. Seriously Ontario?

Today is a very important day for all Canadians to acknowledge the great harm done to the Indigenous people by settlers and continue to this day.
Today marks National Day of Truth and Reconciliation in Canada

On this day, all non-Indigenous people are called upon to witness and act upon this truth, without which there can be no reconciliation
