In today’s No-Stress (Low-Stress?) Nature News, a green heron fusses at and startles a duckling while the sibling looks on, and the mother duck is a little flustered. Are you the heron, the duckling, the sibling, or the mother duck today?

In today’s no-stress nature news, the goslings are growing!

In today’s no-stress news, I got to see this beautiful new heron who appears to be young/not yet full-grown. I always wonder how they stay so clean amidst the mud and creek water!

I also learned that while mallards are monogamous, males will sometimes seek out additional female mates, consensually or otherwise, so in this instance, I’m rooting for her. Shifting from low-stress to no-stress nature news, the poppies are out in full force!
