Admittedly I'm only like 2 hours into this, but I wanna say that The Second Story is obviously wrong and ignorant about literature and fanfiction. She mentions about talking for this nebulous 'writer' in her video. I'm a writer, an actual one, and I'm using my real voice to say; write more fanfics!
The Second Story, AKA author Hilary Layne, recently put out a video claiming that the fall of modern writing and storytelling can be traced to fanfiction. That the process of writing fanfiction has utterly ruined...everything.

This hits home for me. I took me recent years to learn that the people that share the same blood doesn't always represent family. It's the people around you that accept you for who you are today. I would say they are my chosen family, but in truth, they are my actual family. Forever more.
I did a lot of crying today, but through it all I am still able to end the day with smiles and laughs and love thanks to those close to me. I love my partner and my friends and found family so much.

There is a BluSky version of TikTok known as Starlight. It's in beta for Android (might be on Apple as well, not a 100% sure) but if it can replace TikTok, I'm all for it~
