✨Thirteen✨
Favorite Doctor + favorite Doctor Who Quote.🎨

I adored Jodie Whittaker's portrayal of the Doctor. The bright color palette, creative whimsy, the social awkwardness, caring deeply for her companions despite not always being able to express it. Y'all, I felt seen with this one. 🥹💚
Digital painting of the 13th doctor and TARDIS from the BBC's Doctor Who series alongside her quote "Whole worlds pivot on acts of imagination."

That means so much to me thank you!
A safe space for creativity and healing through art is exactly what we are trying to provide here. Kids need to feel safe and valued now more than ever. Even if no one shows up, we stay open every weekday just in case 💚

No students showed up for my afterschool art class today, so we're making the most of it with this pollinating Halictid. 🎨

I have an acute aversion to the color orange (especially living in the US right now 🫠) but the underpainting method has been helping brighten midtones/improve realism.

Oh that sounds super fun!!!

Hopefully not rage-inducing. 😅 They are quite an issue. No one wants maggots in their blueberries.

A wonderful #InverteFest visitor! Giant Ichneumon Wasp 🌿
A huge, gangly wasp ovipositing in a dead beech tree. Her abdomen is long, and her ovipositor is much longer. It loops from the end of her abdomen over her back, then enters the tree trunk perpendicularly.

Thanks! People seem to like my "electric bug" style so leaning into the color and whimsy! :D
