It’s absolutely transformative when it comes to how much better HDR looks.

On any cheap TV it’s objectively better to leave HDR off since it looks awful.

Most games either have their artists draw this shading into textures, or hand place the shading and just make it so objects can't move.

With realtime raytracing you can have dynamic objects *and* accurate shading.
