The thing I hate is that around the 3DS Pokemon also became more focused on catering to kids and railroading everything.
I’m curious if the newer games still appeal to kids. Growing up most of my wonder came from the things that were hidden and discovering them for myself from friends and guides.

It also feels like it sells the power of the system far better than their future interfaces.
The particles in the background that subtly interact with how you move the UI and just how perfectly crisp everything is rendered looks way more expensive than the mess they made for the 4 & 5.

I was cool with it for Tetris Effect as its own unique aesthetic, but not really a fan of it becoming a "house style."

The specs seem to imply it being around $500 USD or so. It's a little weaker than a base PS5 so they should be able to target a similar MSRP.

a large room similar to a firing range rather than a benchmark cause those 60 second benchmark runs take forever to reset to get to the spot you want to test.

stg every pc game needs to boot directly to the main menu and have a button in the options menu that loads a special room which shows the most expensive graphics the game will have so people can test settings

My cats are the best, but everything about pets makes me feel this way. I’m mixed if I would get more now that I’m not a 10 yo

Maybe my major gripe is also that this game isn’t targeting a fundamentally different style of play.
I’m sick of sweaty matchmaking oriented multiplayer games. I would love for Valve to rethink that type of game at a fundamental level. Instead they’re making *another* Dota/CS.

Rumours in the air are suggesting that they’re architecting these consoles more around ML upscaling to make them more affordable to people and make it easier to cut their costs over time.
