Yup! That’s why we call it a “grinder” reading. The classic thought experiment is you can put something through the meat grinder and refer to its constituent “stuff”.

There’s dog/elephant/lion/donkey/apple/mango/boy all over the wall.

Genuine question: what do you get from commenting this?

I’m out here, bringing some fun linguistic research out of the ivory tower of academia, and all you care about is the grammar of the post?
