Day 125/150. Updates are slow, but progress fortunately isn't. Worked the security camera's and screen transitions. Much more to be completed in the coming days. Getting caught by Camera's is an instant game over, btw. Was working the Game Over screen too ironically.

Day 118/150. Finalized the Main menu screen. Some little touch-ups and the game opens up fully centered to the screen. Not a giant change, but the game's name is no longer 'Unday'. I figured the 'surreal' psychological horror is incompatible with my new simple idea, so its now called 'JailBreak'.

Day 118/150. Finalized the Main menu screen. Some little touch-ups and the game opens up fully centered to the screen. Not a giant change, but the game's name is no longer 'Unday'. I figured the 'surreal' psychological horror is incompatible with my new simple idea, so its now called 'JailBreak'.
Day 116/150: Don't worry, I didn't give up, but I WILL let up on daily updates cause somedays...there isn't much to show lol. I'm starting work towards the main game now and apply the mechanics I already have rather than spend weeks making new ones. And yes, I did go back to the 150 timeframe.

Day 109/125. Alright got a little intro title, pixelated and all, before it transitions to the main screen. Got two sizing dimensions to work, so that's cool. Keeping REAL simple now.

Day 106/125. Finalized the UI, yeah its sloppy, but I need to move on with his project. Here's a clip of me testing the weapons on all the enemies. Might not fit in the grenade or rifle though, maybe some other release, but this this current release will be smaller in scope.

Day 98/150. As I said before: LONG 50 DAYS. Got the intro sequence to somewhat work. Thing is I'm trying so many new things at once, it causes several glitches like the guy falling through the floor after getting punched. Also, the toilet shouldn't go behind a door. I'm no interior designer. sue me.

Day 91: Got the automatic machine-gun to work, kinda. Alright, I promise that's the end of the weapons posts! Time to move on to other features! Next week will be focused on finishing up some animations and enemy AI.

Day 89/150. Got the 'nade to work finally. Easy fix! Added some new SFX as well, straight outta the 80s!

Day 88/150. This was a challenging one to implement, but I'm working to include a grenade weapon. Almost there, just need to make the dang enemies DIE from it. Maybe even blow into Gibs. Tomorrow's problem.

Day 87/150. Easy day today. Mostly just picking up the Grenade to make sure I got the hang of the programming behind the items pickup, inventory management and weapon select. Manage to get that done swiftly! 😎

Day 86/150. Never knew setting up melee hit collisions would be so difficult. I thought 'yeah it'd get done in 30 minutes'. 5 Hours later...and I think I created some bugs as well. Joy. Oh well, I'd say this was a major milestone crossed regardless.

Day 85/150. Alright, todays task was picking up a firearm and cycling between different weapons. You can see the green arrow on the upper left hand corner that indicates which weapon is selected. The HUD will be improved sometime by the end, but for now this works. #Godot #GameDev #Shooter

Day 84/150. Got the crouch to work and included some crouch attacks that change once you obtain the knife. AND I got the sound from the screen capture to work 😊
