Have they announced signups for 2026? I've been eyeing it real hard because I want to try and get in on it.

I feel like this is very common in original fiction as well tbh. At least for some genres. It feels like it's become the norm for stories to be boiled down to their tropes & character types, & as long as they satisfy those who cares about the rest. Makes me sad. I couldn't care less about tropes.

Speaking of Ghost: I approved the sketch for my second Ghost tattoo this week and I'm soooooo hype to see the lines.

tbh the core mechanic of the game, the battle system, doesn't even need to be updated. It was a solid system! I liked it a lot. I just want remastered graphics and voice acting.

PS: because of this game I chose to play dragoon in Final Fantasy XI and that, not exaggerating, changed my life, so I owe it for that too.

ngl I think about this a lot, but ultimately don't pursue it bc the thought of writing purely to market when also working full-time until it pays off kills me. If I have to live that life at all I'm just going to write to heart.

In another universe I'm probably making BANK off cishet romantasy tho.
