There was also a narrative that the Jews got what was coming to them in Germany, both before the war and AFTER. Read "In the Garden of Beasts" and "They Thought They Were Free: The Germans 1933-1945" and you see this narrative popping up repeatedly among both Germans and Americans.
I need y'all to understand what the NYT, Dem donors, and centrists are doing here. They're pushing the narrative that trans people went too far and we deserve what is happening to us.
