I started reading comics in the 90's and I loved the art style he used then was like nothing else on the stands (except for those copying him).
As a writer I loved his Justice League, and the Jaimie Reyes Blue Beetle.
His OMAC run was unexpected highlight of the New 52.

I started reading comics in the 90's and I loved the art style he used then was like nothing else on the stands (except for those copying him).
As a writer I loved his Justice League, and the Jaimie Reyes Blue Beetle.
His OMAC run was unexpected highlight of the New 52.

Only one that springs immediately to mind is Pink Floyd's Meddle, but that feels a bit of a cheat as Side 2 is one track.
They level up and become the Pink Floyd of their latter career with that track, but the two sides just feel seperate, like 2 EP's packaged together rather than a unified album.

He's heavily Kirby influenced, more alt, but plays with mainstream stuff in the wheelhouse of Michel Fiffe and Mike Allred.
His Transformers Vs GI Joe series was buck wild. Just tipped all the action figures of both on the floor and went wild, creating his own cosmology.
Worth checking him out.

They spend 3 pages on the arrival of Krypto, but never show him on page! The scene cries out for full page splash of Superboy and his dog hugging, but all we get is an off panel bark.
2009 was a dark time for dogs in comics.

Picked this up cheap because I really like the track Natural High on the Jackie Brown soundtrack. Turns out, that song's by a different group, Bloodstone, on their album Natural High 🤦
This was inoffensive R&B to have on in background, no real stand-out moments, but they sure do have great voices.
