“Our next generation of researchers are now poised on the edge of this cliff, not knowing if there’s going to be a bridge that’s going to get them to the other side, or if this is it”

It was inspiring to see people turn out for @standupforscience.bsky.social in Boston, to hear amazing speakers, and connect with scientists and supporters. I hope this will turn into a more enduring movement to meet the challenges of the moment.

Calling scientists, health care workers, and more: Please join me at the Stand Up for Science Boston rally this Friday from 12-4 PM! You can sign up at www.eventbrite.com/e/stand-up-f....

I'm going to join a larger movement, and to take my outrage and passion and turn it into something productive.

Hello world! I'm a rheumatology fellow at Brigham in Boston trying to understand viruses and autoimmunity. Other interests include language, music, health policy, global health, medical education, and more. I miss the heyday of science and medical Twitter. Excited to see how this space works out!
