LOL, this reminds me that when my son was little, he always used to say "my mom" all the time, even in conversation with his other parent (e.g. "My mom wants me to brush my teeth") and it sounded so weird.

Fine if someone mispronounces it the first time. But NY politicians like Hochul, Sliwa and Cuomo have been having to say this name for so many months now that there’s no excuse for making mistakes on this phonotactically legal-in-English name other than…well you know.
