Recovering from being badly glutened (coeliac) and not managing to eat anything without severe pain, I’ve had huel for the last 3 weeks. It’s disgusting but kept me going until my gut could tolerate gf bread, then eggs and then v overcooked cauliflower cheese 🎉🎉 today cooked apple!! 🤞

Fruit leather will work really well for plums and pears. Keeps forever that way. Never tried with quinces but worth a try? Otherwise cook and can in a pressure cooker and lasts for years if you’ve done it properly.

Queen at Knebworth (last concert with Freddie) but since then the incredible Operation mincemeat (London and Broadway) - flown to NYC to see the OG cast (& understudies) 3 times now.

I left school in the 1980s but covered Amritsar but that was it. My youngest (took GCSEs this summer not including history) and did a whole course on empire. Thought Empireland was one of the best books they’ve ever read.
