The creator of meme saw it & blocked me. Apparently she -- & now others -- think I'M the one who added "do you need help?" to bluesky system Q & the link "How to get help."

I have replied to someone who asked me why would I say that about her meme? Clarified what happened & what my Q was.

Thanks for asking me that! We have a misunderstanding here. I love her meme, have shared it several times & wanted to share it in a post, but sky system stopped me with the Q you can see on top of the meme.

My Q was, still is, why did bluesky put that on there? Why did it ask me if I needed help?

Look the point about adoptees being anti-adoption isn't because we "just had a bad experience." It's the fact that the system itself is built on racist and classist ideals. If you can understand ACAB you can understand why the family policing/adoption industries also need abolishing.

Pushing back against that by using your interpretation of your friend's cousin's adopted sister's story by saying, "But see this time it was good!" is no different than saying "not all cops," and the sooner y'all realize that the better off we'll all be.

I actually think about this a lot this time of year.

Sept 21st to Oct 31st I was kept in limited touch/contact assessment

I think of an infant, removed immediately at birth from everything familiar, their parent's voice and presence, to spend the next 40 days alone in a crib before being sold.

☺️🌱 in my #garden today part two

ruby hyacinth climbing bean vines (ornamental not edible) with fewer fuschia/pale pink flowers and ruby pea pods.

LEFT: "German thyme" a truly amazing star. It is (really) Winter hardy -- not phased by extreme temps, severe weather, nor being cut in half, dug up (xmas presents), just keeps coming back bigger and stronger each year.

RIGHT: Marigolds with flowers of mixed red, orange, and yellow.

We planted 4 small dahlias which became bushes, hiding the pipe. The yellow one grew into a large, wide bush which crowded out into the marigolds and the orange-red dahlia. Something idk what killed all of them except for these 2 short yellow ones.

*17 pendulous, bright green tomatoes are a wee tad bit bigger each day (and YAY! not seeing any more black blossom rot -- ty #pineal
