It rhymes with cough.

The complete lack of consequences for outright lying is going to be the death of this country. When public figures are allowed to lie with impunity and a large segment of the population believes those lies b/c they want to believe them, lies are on equal footing with the truth.

I dead ass love making kids (and families) Christmas. I do this with my own funds. It's coming up on operation Santa time too and I'll adopt specific letters and send, via USPS, whole packages of gifts and treats to kids who write to Santa, and usually include something for their caretakers.

Adopt a child's letter to Santa this holiday season with the USPS Operation Santa® program. Spread holiday cheer and help make a child's holiday wish come true.

I may have purchased 15 on sale squishmallows last night. Which is far from all I've bought, toy-wise.

I don't have a problem, you have a problem.

(I bought them to donate, it's actually the opposite of a problem. Other than I'm gonna need more places to donate.)
lisamarietea.bsky.social
If you're shopping any of the sales this week, pick up a toy to put in a donation bin later this season for Christmas toy drives.

Imho of doing enough sorting at events, kids at the bottom and top of the age range need more options.

combating homelessness by evicting people is some real escalate-to-deescalate-ass shit.

"damn you know what would really help me recover from this spiral of chaotic use? losing my housing." many people are saying this
“It’s time to listen to our recovery community. Overwhelmingly, they share my conviction that no one exiting homelessness should need to choose between their recovery and a home that continually endangers it,” said coauthor Mandelman in a statement. This legislation will add desperately needed new choices that every unhoused San Franciscan deserves: drug-free or recovery-oriented supportive housing if that’s what the resident wants. I’m grateful to Supervisor Dorsey and recovery community members from all across San Francisco for their leadership and advocacy on this worthy legislation.”

I think you could FOIA it and, if I wanted to, I could probably dig a little deeper (board of trustees minutes, etc.), but my cursory search didn't turn up the actual document.
