I'm always amazed at how getting the writing done first thing makes me more productive for the rest of the day.
It's like my brain doesn't want to do anything else until the writing is done, so it's stalls.

I've been working on a compilation of my 2024 Swamp Stories, but this bonus story is giving me guff. So my original plan to release it in January 2025 will have to change.

Panera and Starbucks are so consumed by their to-go orders and drive-thrus that they don’t know what to do when a person actually walks in the building.
I ended up leaving one and going to the drive-thru of the other just so I could be seen.

Wow. I never would have thought of that, since my brain is full of ideas, all the time.
Prioritize. I'll get right on that. Should I also make a list?

Been working on the revisions to my serial and, boy, I hopped around with the POV in those first chapters. It took me a while to really find the voice of each point of view character. After 60+ chapters, they all seem so natural to me now. #amwriting #amrevising #writingcommunity
