Well in that case, I guess they simply mean "not part of main story/events" or whatever, not truly unimportant (which is kinda worse, imo?). But yeah, still a bad look on multiple levels, even without taking Hey! Hi! into account.

Alas, those new rate limits may very well have killed it permanently for me. Even with only one column + 1 list (with few tweets daily), doesn't take long for it to hit (couple of hours at most). Deleted list, let's see how it goes. If it doesn't work, well.... end of the journey, I guess 🫡

Damn, looks like prices for DRR4 also went up since I last checked. Really should upgrade since laptop is getting old and forget high prices, at this rate it might get OOS permanently. But alas, now is definitely now the time for superfluous purchases 🫠
(But hey, at least I'm fine RAM-wise for now)

Oh, right, I completely forgot about the major update. Sounds great to me! With those two features locked in, I suppose I'll survive the inevitable death of Old TD. I'll definitely miss real time streaming of tweets, but I know that's not something you can implement in any way.

I realise there's probably practical and/or technical reasons those features aren't available (they sound like stuff you would've already added on your own), but still hoping you can do something on your end. No sweat if you can't, you're doing so much already.

Namely:
1) mute engine. As you already know, the "official" version limits you to 100 (or was it 200?) mute terms. Was wondering if it was technically possible to implement something on your end?
2) the "remove t[dot]com from links" feature, so that tweets only have the original links.

Even if it's not entirely their fault, it's still "funny". M$ really has a knack (not that one, that's Sony) for self-sabotage.

It's only a mistake if you're not planning to move everyone towards cloud-based OS instead of something running locally on your machine. It truly feels like that's the direction they've been taking with Windows for a while now.
