A sketch of the knights in my stories that Mia is grouped together with. Sir Vargas is the shirtless guy who doesn't talk much, Sir Hotspur is the brash but very serious red-armored knight, and Sigfried is the a-hole squire. Mia is a water elemental mage who specializes in healing and ice combat.

The design, NPC cast, and beauty of the castle city of Radiata in this game is my favorite fantasy setting ever, in any fiction. The only thing that ever comes close for me is Balamb Garden in FFVIII, which is also on my top ten of most pleasant places in an RPG to just "hang out" within.

The design, NPC cast, and beauty of the castle city of Radiata in this game is my favorite fantasy setting ever, in any fiction. The only thing that ever comes close for me is Balamb Garden in FFVIII, which is also on my top ten of most pleasant places in an RPG to just "hang out" within.
To this day, I don't think I have played a game that has been more influential to my personal taste in character, art, and environment design than #RadiataStories on PS2. This game to me was a graphical masterpiece that perfectly balanced style and substance.

I like to start coloring my art by first putting a multiply layer of a greyish purple on top of my characters. This is my favorite "shade" when skin colors are involved, and I like to paint on top of it as a base. I feel like its easier to add life and boldness to a low-saturated base.
