So we have three days left of the month and I am in the middle of 5 books, would love to close atleast three of them before October begins, so begins my accountability thread 😅😆

Update: actually read about 130 pages of this today so far! Been a long time since I just let myself read on a Saturday.

Also this book is bleak but good and my favorite kind of near future scifi. Its also a Eurydice and Orpheus retelling and I am curious how that will come together

Also if anyone can figure out why publishers decided the US shouldn’t have access to this on audio anymore please let me know 😆

I want to get my reading momentum back this month so time for another accountability thread. Tonight I am reading Discount Armageddon by Seanan McGuire.

Its a pretty fun urban fantasy so far that this former ballroom dancer is enjoying more than anticipated

Another book down! This was a contemporary romance. I enjoyed it and glad I finally got to it since its been on my tbr for years. Now a brief break to work on the house but then going to read the first cryptid novel later!

Its been a few hours and I have finished a short story from Fresh Dirt from the Grave! Really been enjoying this translated gothic collection by a Bolivian author. Now onto the romance book!

Since posting I have finished Sal and Gabi break the universe! It was a very cute read and perfect audiobook for when I was in the mood for one. I am not sure if I will continue the series but I am glad I finally got to this tbr vet.

In the past month I have read two @cadwellturnbull.bsky.social books, each of them in one day (which is unheard of for me). Safe to say I will not be shutting up about his works for the foreseeable. Go read No Gods No Monsters and get hyped with me for the third book releasing later this year!
